Can you confirm my findings please.
1st I think is a deathcap ... first one i have found if it is.
The second I think is a violet web cap.. again it is the first I have found.

It looks very much like a deathcap to me. A nice specimen too:
The second one will be a Cortinarius, however there are a few purple ones so not sure on the species.

| | | Re: two for confirmation please There are around 230 species of Cortinarius in the UK and quite a few have strong purple colours, so trying to match up one young specimen with pictures is not really going to help
