Hi,
Have been collecting Boletes for some time and enjoying.
On a recent forage, on the drive back I noticed some Parasol mushrooms by the road.
Pulled up and on the way back from them came across these Bolete
Fawn on the top, yellow pores and stem, stubby stem.
On cutting the flesh, slow blueish tinge, after a short while fades to light grey/white. (see photo)
No distinct smell other than mushroomy.
Found in meadow 2nd Sept 2011 under an old Oak tree. (no yellow ribbon around it)
Any ideas what this may be?
