Ken | Thank you Ken, but after looking in the Collins Guide following your names i found Wood Wooly-foot (Collybia pernata, but not Gymnopus peronatus is there a reason for this please thank you...Ray

Names then have to change to reflect the newly uncovered relationships. Many species formerly placed in the genus Collybia have recently been moved to other genera in the latest monograph on this group.
The online checklist for Basidiomycetes in Britain gives information on these changes but I can't provide a link at the moment as the site seems to be down.
