| | | Several for id please It seems to be that fungal time of year again. Here on Islay we don't get the variety found elsewhere, but on today's ramble we came across a few species. Can anyone help with id please? Thanks,
Becky

| | | Re: Several for id please 3 - Possibly just emerging Coprinopsis nivea - Snowy Inkcap.
4 - Possibly (again just emerging) Lepiota cristata - Stinking Dapperling.
Can't suggest anything positive for the others.
Regards,
Mike. |

Most of the important parts are on the underside of the mushroom, so you need to turn them over (or use a mirror to see the gills) if you want to get an ID. Otherwise we can only make wild guesses
Cheers, Nick.

| | | Re: Several for id please No 1 has cap markings very similar to Pluteus umbrosus but there is usually a more defined network so I don't think it is this.
That really only leaves an Inoncybe species and a microscopic examination would be necessary to find out which one.
2, 5, and 6 are nigh impossible without seeing an accompanying shot of the underside, but this really applies to every fungi for which an ID is required.
