Took this at the local nature reserve.
I have had a look on line and think it is Common Ink Cap but not 100% sure.
Please verify or correct me. 
Just the one solitary specimen.

From one grandad to another this is coming from a complete learner but my book says it is a
Shaggy Inkcap or Lawyers Wig i hope i dont get shot down in flames

Hello Brian,
It's not in the best of health, but I'd say this more like a Shaggy Ink Cap rather than a 'Common' Ink Cap.

After checking on line and in my books I think you are correct with
Shaggy Ink Cap.
I live and learn.
Is it usual to have only one, as far as I could see there were no others anywhere on the reserve (Only small) | | | |
