I was overjoyed when Fungi John showed me Alder Tongue (Taphrina alni) in Sheffield last week as I had not seen it before:
Since then I have been searching for it locally, as there is only one record in the BMS database for Derbyshire and that was in 1935, and Hey-Presto it turned up today near Ilkeston. (only just in Derbyshire) I don't no whether this year is a good year for it or that no one has looked for it in the past!
