bracket fungus for id
Can anyone help me id this huge bracker fungus i found this morning.
The closest i have found in any of my books is Polyporus squamoses

You are correct.

This is a very nice example of Dryad's Saddle - Polyporus squamosus.

Grrrr.... why can't people keep religion and mycology separate ?
Moses is supposed to have sat on a rock or summut like that - not on a Dryads Saddle.
