| | | ID Assistance - a Crepidotus?
About 2cm across, growing in a dense conifer plantation on a damp log. VERY white. The white droplets look strange. After poring through here and my only fungus book I'm guessing Crepidotus. I realise I need spore info for a full id, but any help is appreciated. |

Crepidotus ssp. have gills - this one obviously doesn't have gills, but has pores, and just a quick look (coz the 6pm news is now starting !) tells me yours is probably a Postia species.

If you "pore" through your book again you will probably find that Crepidotus does not have them Pores that is. For Crepidotus you would need gills. I am not totally sure but Postia stiptica looks possible.
