Small clump of twee mushrooms/ toadstools?

I wonder if it's possible to say what these are? In dry sandy soil, on the edge of a bank of tall grass, thistles and brambles, all very tiny and bunched together - the whole group say 50mm by 30mm. Looking through the Gallery the nearest thing I could see were St George's mushrooms, but these seem too late for that, and smaller, too. Any help appreciated!

these are rather dry and clearly starting to go mouldy, bearing that in mind and the fact that you unfortunately haven't included a gill-shot (it is allowed to pick a couple) means these will almost certainly remain un-named

Thanks Chris. Now I know, I might just avail myself of a couple tomorrow - if they're still there, for a gill shot!
