Help with identification

Hi I have a new crop of large fungi growing in a damp corner of my garden in the debris of conifers and various other wood/leaf matter.

I believe them to be shaggy parasols but was wondering if anybody could help confirm this or indeed suggest something they may be instead.

There are several in varying stages of growth as shown from the pictures, ranging from new shoots about 3/4" diameter to some 7-8" monsters. I have cut 1 of the larger specimens in half to see if it discolored and it fairly quickly started to go a pinkish/red where it was cut open.
they smell very much like a shop bought open cup mushroom.

there is also a small about 2 inch fungus growing near them but it appears to be completely different and I'm afraid i have no idea what it is but have included it's picture so please if anybody has any suggestion as to what it is I would appreciate it.

Hello Otokashi,

Yes, what you have there are Chlorophyllum rhacodes or C. brunneum, Shaggy Parasols. Going by the lack of scales on the cap, probably the latter.

The smaller fungus, could be either an Agrocybe or Psathyrella species.

Thanks for the reply I'm not convinced the small fungi was either the 1's suggested but i guess I'll never know as when i went out this morning to take more pictures and details it had been eaten by something along with some big mouthfuls of my shaggy parasols

Do you think the small one was an Agaricus sp. then ?

I back Andy with his first choice of Agrocybe sp.
