a slime mould?? for id if poss please.

Hi I am pretty sure this is some kind of slime mould but can anyone confirm/name this please.
Found today on a very old and rotten and damp log. in a mixed decidious wood (mainly oak/silver birch/holly)
From a distance it has a steely grey/bluish colour. the fruiting bodies are spherical without a stipe. new fuits are blue/grey/black in colour. older ones are yellow/brown. the older ones gave of loads of powder (spores) the same colour as the fruiting boddy.

I reckon this is almost certainly Cribraria argillacea. That plasmodial lead-blue colour followed by clay spore mass is a dead give-away. This species is usually stalked, but very short stalked (ie less than 1mm or so) forms are very common indeed.
