Coprinus 2: Revenge of the inkcap

I found this specimen next to my tent in a very shaded wood by the side of the Kennet & Avon canal. It was solitary, growing on a twig amongst leaf litter. The gills were dark grey, sorry, I forgot to get a shot of the underside

The cap was heavily pleated.

Help is yet again needed to ID this one

Thanks Andy, I was considering that species but it said nothing about growing on wood debris/twigs in my ID book?

So, saprothrophic can mean breaking down anything organic, wood debris/twigs, leaf litter etc?
