really JB - all a bit predictable I'd have thought . . . .

after the Chernobyl accident a lot of work went into tracing radioactive material in fruitbodies - particularly boletes - and significant amounts were found - but it was Caesium (Cs137) from the atmospheric tests of the 1950s and early 1960s - the Chernobyl stuff hadn't arrived yet . . .

following the Chernobyl incident a physicist friend who checked the air vents at his university assured me that the figures we were being fed by the government were way below what was actually happening . . .

wild food? I think not . . .
