| | | Which genus? I'm stumped on this one.
Growing in moss on a grassed/mossed over Forestry Commission hardcore vehicle area, a usual Galerina spot.
Cap filamentous. Microscopically rather Galerina like. Cap size approx 7-8mm dia.
Basidia 4 spored. Spores golden brown, look roughish.
(8.2) 8.6-9.3 (9.5) x (4.5) 5.3 - 6.2 (6.8) um Qav 1.6
Cheilocystidia abundant, long 50-60 x 7.5-12um Pleurocystidia similar. Caulocystidia similar. cheilocystidia pleurocystidia
Clamps present.
I checked through Galerina but wasn't convinced by any, and the fruit body doesn't look particularly Galerina like, so if it is, it will be a distinctive one. And then checked through a whole load of others. Any ideas?
thanks

these fruitbodies look to have been attacked by some sort of parasite - could that be the case, Melanie? (see Laccaria laccata attacked by Calcarisporium arbuscula - Wild About Britain Pics though this clearly isn't a Laccaria )
Chris PS * OK they can be slightly rugulose in T. dispersa, but that is typically associated with Crataegus and doesn't look like this

Reason: clarification on spores
