unknown on antirrhinum stems

I found these last week on old woody antirrhinum stems from last year. The disks are about 0.5 to 0.75mm across. Can anybody give my any hints towards identification?
I didn't find much that was meaningful to myself under the microscope - that is, nothing looking sporelike. What would people recommend to do with such specimens? ( for microscopy, that is!).
Any comments would be helpful.

despite looking exactly like a discomycete in the Hyaloscyphaceae I'm pretty certain that what you have there is actually an agaric (!):
Lachnella villosa

the fact that you can't see much under the microscope is that if the basidiospores haven't formed yet, there won't be a lot that's familiar - the hairs look dead right, though

I collected this species last weekend on the Scarborough Bioblitz, on Filipendula, I'll post some images when I have time
