Are these just Bracket fungi i havnt seen one like these before thank you...Ray

"Just bracket fungi" ?
Bracket fungi come in many shapes and sizes and there are many different species.
They can also be just as attractive to look at as the 'ordinary' Agarics or toadstools.
Take Ganoderma lucidum for example, this can be very stunning.
Also Fomitopsis pinicola with the red band round the edge, or how's about Sparassis crispa and Hericium erinaceus ?
There is also the well known Chicken of the Woods and Beefsteak fungus, or what about Chondrostereum purpureum or Psuedohydnum gelatinosum or even the one you show here ?
The list is endless.
