Unidentified bracket
I've been watching this grow these past few weeks and yesterday I decided to take a photograph. It's been growing on the side of a fire damaged tree and seems to be thriving on the blackened wood. It has a grey/blue tint with a white edge. Despite my best efforts, I have no idea what this is. Any suggestions?

hi

a shot of the underside would be useful - see: Help us to help you identify fungi

it doesn't quite look right for Trametes versicolor; check the spore-bearing surface - if it's smoky grey this is Bjerkandera adusta
