Ascomycete on dead Ash
Hello all

Les and I visited the Stones today and found this Ascomycete on rotting dead Ash.

Typical size being approx 2mm x 2mm. Pale yellow but turning pale pink on collection and handling!

I suppose a good one for the BMS Asco workshop

Hymenoscyphus sp. I would say, could be one of half a dozen (spore length is important) - the turning pinkish feature is unusual though
