absolutely - nothing like Hypholoma fasciculare! I would suspect Pholiota adiposa
I can see where Neil spotted the interesting orthographic variant in the Japanese script, but that would only hold true for Tokyo-style surely; this looks to have been written in Kyoto-Osaka-type dialect and therefore perfectly acceptable, surely?

Twas me. My brand new Wikipedia account can't upload images so if anyone feels like posting this or a better shot please feel free. It seems a good replacement for the shot of old specimens but my photography is never great.
