Like many others, I only knew David through his contributions to WAB - I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but still was genuinely saddened to hear this news.

Alhough I had no direct correspondace with David, I know he was loved and respected and I'm sure he will be missed by many.

I also only knew David from his posts here. He was obviously a very talented man and devoted to WAB. I was not aware either that he was ill.
May he rest in peace.
My sincere condolences to all his family and friends.

Im a bit choked reading these posts, he was a big character in here, not that i knew him, but if you asked me to name 5 members of wab his name would be quick to call.
