Can anyone help with this small fungus found in needle litter. The cap had the look and texture of a small (2cm) slightly dark Collybia butyracea, the photos show it having turned darker by the time I got home.
The white stipe had a very slight ring and was rooting in the soil possibly to wood debris.
The gills were obviously not right so a look under the scope showed dark developing spores.

With both chielocystidia
and pleurocystidia
The chielocystidia did not have any yellow contents which seemed to rule out most of the species with this shaped cystidia. Any pointers would be appreciated.
