Question tiny fungi help!
This first was rampant over a decorticated and ( I think) burnt Scots Pine log today, grateful for help/steer. A mould?

And I didnt spot this next to the grey mollisia til I got home and downloaded, any ideas with that? Or probably far too small and featureless on the shot. On beech or oak.

Hi Ken,

I think it is one of the Trentepohlia. (Might be T.aurea - but there are several species, which, though orange to the eye, belong to the green algae).

Haven't a clue regarding the tiny ones on your (truly excellent!) Grey Disco photo.
