Unknown Fungus

I wondered if anyone might know what type of fungi these are? They were seen a few weeks ago in the gardens of the farm where I have my sculpture studio. Although a rural area of Tunbridge Wells, they were growing in a well planted garden.

We really need to know the colour of the spores, but I will stick my neck out and suggest Lepista flacida, no doubt this will prompt someone to come up with other suggestions.

I really appreciate your help, I was just writing up about that particular sculpture and decided I would take a look at WAB just in case there was an answer. Your suggestion seems good to me and one I have gone with on my blog (with anonymous thanks to you!) I'm afraid I can offer no help for your post, though your photo is fascinating. I can only hope to gather some of the knowledge of the people on here as I go through my project and see the forums on WAB. Many Thanks.
