Searching for the Winter Stalk Puffball - Tulostoma brumale
The result of an 80 mile round trip
On the way back to the car park, a real agaric, found growing in association with Willow, but what is it??
A very interesting day with good friends!

John | It certainly fooled me Like you say I have seen it every time I have been out this year so far and never seen anything like this. I will have to spend a little extra time when I come across it in the future.
