Unknown Fungi

All in East Yorkshire, sorry about the picture quality. All taken two weeks before Christmas.

1. On Ash - in woodland


2. At the base of an Ash - in arable land




3. looks tricky, just genus if you can - In an arable (wheat) stubble field.


4. Woodland edge (ash & sycamore) on the edge of arable farmland (wheat stubble), had gills.


5. Sorry bad image, a bracket on a dead Ash or sycamore tree (sorry forgot to check which). In woodland.

You`ve set a very very difficult task there DH due to frost damage and lack of information, (gill and stem detail, spore colour). However; I`ll stick my neck out and say that No 4 might be Tubaria.

Help us to help you identify fungi

I`m still learning but specimens should be in good condition, showing cap, gills, stem and where ever possible spore colour.
