| | | two fungi for ID Hi All. someone said it was the time of year for putting up pictures taken earlier, for ID? Although there are still fungi about.
Anyway here is a six inch high, and around our across fungus with very fluted edges, which as you see are brownish in the most corrugated edges. The stalk was also unusual. Very narrow and twig like with verticle indented striations. It was one on ts own.
The coral covered an area of six or seven square yards growing under nettles beneath a hawthorn hedge and a pine tree. Creamy white when young, dull yellowy fawn as pictured mature, and brown as it aged. Now to find the pictures...  |

I think that the first on is Lacaria laccata (The Deciver) and the second one in Clavulina coralloides
