| | | Inkcap advice appreciated These were found growng close together in early October in an area where old stumps abound. My initial impression was that they were both inkcaps, possibly the same species. Although the second picture appears to show the gills deliquescing, I`m having difficulty finding any other features that would identify it as an inkcap. The splits in the cap surface are particularly confusing.
Can anyone advise or comment?
Cheers
