| | | Mycena galopus? Please can anyone confirm my id on this one.
Photographed early October. Mixed woodland. Growing on woodland floor amid leaf and twig debree. No spore print, alas, I've only just cottened on to the importance of spore prints.
My best guess is Mycena galopus var candida.
Any help much appreciated.

In this case a spore print would not have helped. It would be white as it is a Mycena. Although it does not look quite right for M galopus var candida I cannot come up with any better candidate.
