Managed to get out and about today, here are some of the fungi I found in Epping Forest


Lepista nuda



Thought this one would be easy when I saw it but now I see there are two types of jellydisc so not sure if it's purple enough to be Ascocoryne sarcoides or more likely Neobulgaria pura


Photogenic Trametes - shame I blurred it







Far too many photos of this Coprinus, thought probably micaceus though the colour is a bit odd


Getting a bit dark now so this Amanita citrina had to be illuminated with the torch!

Hello Laura,

it is Ombrophila pura, not Ascocoryne. Besides the colour, Ombrophila also is bigger and distinctly turbinate.

new name for Neobulgaria and 'turbinate' - shaped like a spinning top
