fungi for ID
I found this on short grass under a beech tree..
I have scoured the books and still none the wiser the only thing I came close to was yellow cowpat fungi..
It did look more yellow than the pic and the stem disintegrated on the way home..

Looking at the cap dare I say it's an Inocybe.... possibly I. rimosa... I'm prepared to be shot down in flames though
