Evening all. Can anyone please help me with id for this fungus please. 
took this on 05/11/2010 id'd it as bulbillomyces farinosus. Returned today 10/11/2010 and as you can see the colour has changed and the tips are turning black. 
There is no mention in the books of colour change with development for bulbillomyces or anything like it. Am I correct or not??
growing on rotten tree log amongst mixed trees on a hillside. fruits are approx 5mm to 10mm in length. Whole collony is about 100mm across.

Bulbillomyces is nothing like this . . . . this is a slime-mould, Arcyria sp. - probably A. denudata

This is a slime mould. It might be Arcyria denudata.

many thanks to you all for putting me right yet again. Why the dramatic colour change?
is it part of the normal development or due to the drop in temperature or what.

Many of the myxos start out white and as they mature change colour. Thats why it is fruitless trying to id at that early stage in most cases
