Is this field blewit
1.Found a large group of these today in a local field.Large 150mm approx cap and a wide 25-30mm stipe.The stipe had a light purple colour Hue to it.Could they be blewits ?

2.Not sure what these are,but the caps were approx 50-60mm and green stipes.Found in the same field

Hi Nutz

I think you're right on the first one with Lepista saeva.

The second is Hygrocybe psittacina

Thanks for your reply nick.Perhaps i should have mentioned the stipes on the second were approx 100mm which i think may be too tall for Hygrocybe psittacina having just looked it up.

Definately H.psittacina. It's a pretty unmistakeable species.
