Charcoal Burner?

This has seen better days and is rather slug nibbled, but it looks like a Charcoal Burner. Any chance of a confirmation on this rather limited evidence?

Found underneath a holly tree in wet grass and moss in a church yard. The top wasco across and curling up with dark purple colouration. The gills and stem were brilliant white.

Or possibly an old Russula atropurpurea
