Have you got any in focus images of the gills? Could be a clincher here! Looks like Cortinarius sanguineus, but need clear gill shots to be clear

No sorry. This was the only one around so I didn't want to damage it by picking it. Had to just put camera on ground.

That looks good. There aren't many that have that deep colour in all areas. This one wasn't in my book. Only is as a "similar species" with no picture. So, thanks again.
