| | | Re: Fungus ID Please? [Large images] welcome to WAB but you've managed to break two of the forum rules with your first post
see: Why Can't I Post External Images in the Forum? | Wild About Britain
and Is my fungus edible or psychotic requests
plus given that your rather over-exposed/somewhat out-of-focus images of a yellow fungus are of a fungus which you assure us is not yellow, when you re-post this with internally generated images I wouldn't hold my breath for an ID I'm afraid
Chris

PS - why does a black "+" sometimes appear after someone's name in the list of those WAB members viewing? (it's been intriguing me for months)

| | | Re: Fungus ID Please? [Large images] I actually wasn't asking whether or not they were edible, but enquiring if they were poisonous so that I could touch them with my hands, I probably should've said really.
Sorry I didn't see about the external images I'll do that. Thanks for the help anyway though.
EDIT: I can't seem to edit my main post. Any ideas? |

as a general rule you can handle any toxic fungi as long as you wash your hands; the toxins only kick in if the fungus is ingested

Chris | Ok cool :S
Thanks for the info.
I'm not sure that's the right species though because there's no distinct smell coming from it. you guys are probably right though You know much more about it than me.
Cheers. |

| | | Re: Fungus ID Please? [Large images] C. nebularis doesn't really have a distinct smell to be honest. A bit mushroomy
...sorry Chris, I see what you were doing
To answer your question, the people with + appearing after their names are WAB buddies. People you've befriended and vice versa. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
