Fungus ID Please? [Large images]

Hi there,

These were found at a golf course in Lullingstone in Kent, and I was wondering if they were poisonous or not. I don't know if they were found exactly next to a tree but they were in woodland. If any one can identify them it would be great.

Note: The fungi look yellow but that's just the light shining on it. They're white with a grey patch towards the middle.

plus given that your rather over-exposed/somewhat out-of-focus images of a yellow fungus are of a fungus which you assure us is not yellow, when you re-post this with internally generated images I wouldn't hold my breath for an ID I'm afraid

I actually wasn't asking whether or not they were edible, but enquiring if they were poisonous so that I could touch them with my hands, I probably should've said really.

Sorry I didn't see about the external images I'll do that. Thanks for the help anyway though.

editing is time limited - don't worry too much about it

as a general rule you can handle any toxic fungi as long as you wash your hands; the toxins only kick in if the fungus is ingested

I'm not sure that's the right species though because there's no distinct smell coming from it. you guys are probably right though You know much more about it than me.

C. nebularis doesn't really have a distinct smell to be honest. A bit mushroomy
