Help ID fungus on pine stump please

This was found on a rotting pine stump, cap about 3cm across and with no distinctive smell.



Hope someone can help - I have no idea which isn't unusual

this is a variety of Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca, which can occur on rotting wood on occasion - those forking gills are a dead giveaway . . .

it is one of the colour forms - difficult to say which from a photograph - probably either var. pallida or var. lactea
