candle snuff with strange "friend"
Photograph of candle snuff fungus was taken in mixed woodland near Derwentwater.
At the time I failed to notice the strange purple jelly fungus alongside it - until it was on the computer.
Neobulgaria pura seems to fit but does it appear in dark purple?

Could be Ascocoryne sarcoides.
