I do apologise if I have uploaded these images before but I cannot trace any response from knowledgeable members who are usuually very willing to share their knowledge.
May I ask for identification of these images taken in deciduous wood on clay ground in Suffolk. Hope the images are clear enough to help you in your quest.

Shots of the undersides in both cases would have assisted you in ascertaining a possible ID! The top looks very Cortinarius- shiny and very purple! I'd say there's little else that could be! T'other, I'm not sure about. |

Both had gills as i recall.
