| | Fungi Id please Hi
New to photographing fungi and although I have looked through the usual references, I have no idea what species this is.
The fungi in question was growing out of a rotten tree, birch, I think.
My first impression is it is a sort of Bonnet but the stalk does not look like anything I can match.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the id, looking at some other images, this appears to fit perfectly. As for the cap colour in my image, I think this is just down to my processing, whilst there was a hint of purple in the cap, I have probably exaggerated it a bit.
