| | | Anyone know what this is?
Hi all! I found this last Friday and can't find anything like it in the ID Gallery. It was growing on a strip of grass by a track in mixed but mainly deciduous woodland with a lot of birch, oak & sweet chestnut. This is in West Sussex on a hill of mixed chalky down and sandy heathland. Thanks in advance. |

Anyone else have any ideas?

Flowerhead xx | hi
as the season starts to hit the first frosts atypical and freakish fruitbodies like this Clitocybe will probably become more frequent on the WAB pages (and also become quite hard to name accurately because of course they don't look like the "real thing")
