Meadow Coral ?

Came across this in the local churchyard this morning:



Subject to the usual caveats (i.e., no microscopy) is this Meadow Coral Clavulinopsis corniculata?

For what my opinion is worth, it looks like it to me.

no caveat necessary in this instance - that's corniculata

yes, I agree, its clearly corniculata - its one that you often dont see a great deal of as its lower in grass, and shows just as a yellowy coral patch, not too high/outstanding, but this shows nicely above any vegetation.

After being shown many wonderful fungi recently (see Clumber 2010), it's a surprisingly good feeling to find one for myself (and, what's more, get the ID).
