| | Bright white mushrooms for ID please? I spent a week in fungus heaven last week i.e. Center Parcs, Longleat Forest and found clumps of these dotted around the place, usually underneth conifers. In fact they were almost dazzzling in some places against the rich orangey/ red of the pine needles.
Because I was with a crowd of other people, I couldn't do the usual of getting down on my knees or tum to look at the gills nor stem, so I'm hoping that someone can ID them just from these, the only two images I got of them. Diameter of largest = approx 4-5cms
Cheers!
