Recent finds which I'm strugging to identify. Any help much appreciated.
No.1
Small Cortinarius approx 50mm tall, growing in sandy soil below Pine/Birch/Alder.
Unfortunately, I have somehow managed to corrupt the file for the gill shot, but the gills were adnate, not too crowded, and strikingly bright violet.
The cap had a velvety/felty texture.
Could this be
Cortinarius violaceous ?
No.2
Large troupes of these growing below Spruce & Pine.
Cap sizes to approx. 50mm stipes to approx. 50mm tall.
I'm thinking
Cortinarius, but haven't been able to get beyond that.
No.3
Growing in moss covered sandy bank on edge of open coastal dunes area, but with Alder & Scots Pine within twenty metres.
Due to the fibrous texture of the caps, I'm thinking possibly
Inocybe
Caps approx 40mm, stipes approx 50mm.
Any ID suggestions much appreciated.
Regards,
Mike.
