Unknown Meadw Mushroom

Hi, I wonder if anyone could identify this mushroom. It is white/light cream all over with the exception of a very narrow light brown ring on the edge of the gills.

Perhaps this is a Lactarius, in which case it may be easier to identify if you were to test the milk on the tip of your tongue and smell the mushroom. If you are particularly safety conscious, rinse your mouth out after testing the milk. I can't imagine a bit of milk would do you any harm but to be on the safe side I always wash my mouth out afterwards.

Hello Newburn,

I'm afraid you've done the opposite to what every other newcomer does - failed to show the underside.

You have failed to show the surface !

It is possible to work out what you have, but it takes up more time which people don't always have.

So, please, a shot of the cap surface ?
