very large fungi - Boletus?
Found this very large fungi - suspect it may be a Boletus? - Bay Bolete. The cap was about 28cm across at it widest.
Light brown cap - irregular shape. White flesh, yellow spores, thick white stem

Hello Meadowild,

It may help to get a close up of the stipe to be certain but my guess is Boletus edulis.

100% seconded. B. edulis.

Both the Cap and Stipe are different from B. Badius (Bay)

b.badius would have blue bruising tubes so i agree with edulis given the lighter colour and no discolouration where damaged
