ID if possible




these 2 were close together, the 2nd one spanned approx 8-9 inches across.

Very nice find if I'm correct - anyone agree with me on Sparassis spathulata ?

Yes, I am sure that this is Sparassis spathulata. Before this year I'd only ever seen one. However, this season I've seen 8 in total so far. Looks like a good year for them.

thanks guys, no wonder i couldn't find it Roger Phillips book, it's not in there and looking on the internet there isn't much info on it either. anymore details on it? is it worth reporting/ Recording?
