Hello everybody
I have been out and about around Leigh,Lancs again
actually around 'PlankLane' if you know the area.
Anyway i have a few fungs for Id if you can help
The First 3 where taken on very rough ground near birch, oak trees with rough grass.
i think this may be a young wax cap ?, there where 2-3 others like this a few cm away and there was a blackening wax cap or 2 close by.
Even though they are very small , the colour is very bright and quite easy to spot.
i find the stem (stipe) quite striking on this one , the others next to the where smaller and much more red in colour, but my old camera has had issues with focus on these , So this is the only shot i got. If we need another pic for id i will get some next weekend. size around 4cm dia
These chaps where growing under actually under birch , there where good numbers of them around but i liked the fact that the ground was so eroded and they where growing horizontally out of it.
Next 2 pictures where taken on the canal bank-side,
Again rough ground but is more mature than the area in my first photo set.

Some sort of stump puffball ?
size small , 2cm dia
and finally
I have no idea what this could be , it does not seem to be in either of the books i have, but i suspect i have just overlooked it.
size 3-4cm dia
thanks in advance
