| | | Another one for poss I.D please I spotted this today at the base of a beech/birch tree.....
Is it chicken of the woods ... Laetiporus sulphureus ?
It had green/yellow pores underneath. The flesh had texture of a cooked chicken breast ! The smell was very pleasant.
So ladies and gents... is it ? Thanks for taking the time to reply. |

However, pretty sure it's not! M. giganteus is a possibility. |

If there are a lot of the same fungi I will uproot/take one for I.D , I don't just pull up/ take the lot !!
