hi

it's false chanterelle Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca - the way the gills regularly fork and then fork again is very characteristic (also - no milk of course!)

The pictures in my guide all show a flat top but googling shows more rounded top. I presume this is a newish one? This identification lark is very difficult!!

The sooner you realise a guide is just a guide and that there are an infinite number of atypical specimens of each species in all genuses, the better
