Taken on my laptop webcam, sorry for poor-quality.
Comments: growing in grass underneath mighty 100 foot conifers, as seen in the photo here: Bing Maps (alongside the road running West to East).
Gills join together, right at the cap. Smell is 'mushroomy', fairly strong. |

I can't suggest a better match than R.sanguinaria though.
